Coronado has always been one of my favorite places to photograph in San Diego. Between the coastal scenery, warm natural tones, and beautiful evening light, it offers such a lovely setting for portraits.
I recently had the pleasure of photographing Mikenna’s senior session here, and I couldn’t be more grateful to have documented this milestone for her.

Senior year marks the beginning of so many changes. It’s a time of celebrating everything you’ve accomplished while looking forward to what’s next.
For Mikenna’s portraits, I wanted to create photographs that felt natural, relaxed, and true to this season of her life.
The warm grasses, coastal textures, and soft light gave us a gorgeous backdrop without taking attention away from her. I love how the simplicity of the surroundings allows the person in front of my camera to remain the focus.
