Hi Friends! I am Rachael and you have no idea how happy I am that you are here looking to possibly bring me a long for your nuptial voyage. Allow me to extend my heartiest congratulations as you set forth on this exciting adventure!!! I am so excited to hear all about your story, but before that, I would love to share a little about I am and I have to offer.
In 2013, an important milestone in my life occurred when my husband gifted me my first Nikon camera upon the birth of our first daughter, and this provided the impetus for me to embark upon my photography journey. Becoming a photographer is tailored to my soul, and is a true reflection of who I am. I'm an incredibly sentimentality person at the very core of my being and I am driven by a deep love for my work and desire to create something truly special. This trait of mine is both my greatest strength and my Achilles' heel. Nonetheless, I choose to embrace my sentimental nature wholeheartedly. It was at this time I feel in love with bringing life into photographs through nostalgia and gifting people their most cherished memories.
I am first and for most a lover of our beautiful universe, a wife and mother and I consider myself incredibly fortunate to be a part of a blended family, in which we share the privilege of having five beautiful daughters together. Our lives have been shaped by our commitment to the military. My husband recently retired after 22 years of honorable service. He and I are now both Navy Veterans!
My friends know me as someone who they can lean and depend on. I have an ardent fondness for travel, hence the destination wedding photographer. As a person with a spiritual inclination, I hold a deep appreciation for crystals and the positive energies they exude. When I'm not filling up photographing or working on my business, I relish spending time with my family and crafting memorable experiences that children will cherish forever. This is indeed an exciting chapter in my life, and I make it a point to slow down, be present, and take pleasure in life's little moments.
Working with Rachael was absolutely effortless and enjoyable. My husband and I were not excited to take photos because we're incredibly awkward and goofy. Rachael made it so natural and easy. Once it actually came to our wedding photos it was so comfortable and organized. She takes control of your wedding party when necessary (trust me, very necessary for mine), and had a plan the whole way through. She even helped me with my timeline for the wedding.
I was one of those people who didn't want to do the engagement photos, because I thought why it's a waste and I'd rather just take that away and have a cheaper price, but it was worth it and is needed. We developed a relationship and bond to where we were able to feel comfortable with her and her taking photos of us. I now believe without the engagement photos, the wedding day photos would have been awkward and unenjoyable. There is a reason this is apart of the package and you can't skip or take away for a cheaper price! Rachael is absolutely worth the money and I would and will recommend her to everyone. She's so sweet and so much fun. All of this, and the photos were ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS and were EXACTLY what I wanted. I couldn't ask for anything more, she is incredible. Seriously, book her.
