For our engagement session, my husband and I were excited and nervous as we had never had professional photos taken together. Rachael played our favorite genre of music to help ease the nerves, walked us through different poses, and has a way about her that made us feel comfortable to be our authentic selves as a couple while photographed. "LONG STORY SHORT: HIRE RACHAEL"
Long story short: HIRE RACHAEL. Hard stop. But since I can’t say enough about Rachael… I will tell you why! I was one of the “lucky” COVID brides. Postponed wedding, moved date what seemed like a million times, lost our original photographer, etc etc. BUT as we are all learning, everything happens for a reason. My husband and I ended up eloping but planned on having a backyard party to celebrate our mariage. We wanted to capture this special celebration, so we were back to the drawing board on hiring a photographer. My college teammate actually used Rachael for her wedding AND WOW, the most stunning photos I have ever seen so she was my first inquiry. Thank the Lord that Rachael was available. She became my BFF right away as I know she has this beautiful connection with all of her clients. We did an engagement shoot to get comfortable with each other and it was a blast.

I'm pretty flexible, the only thing I need to reserve your date is the non-refundable retainer cost and a sifned contract. If your wedding is local, I require everything to be paid in full two weeks before the wedding date. If your wedding requires travel, then I ask that the full balance be paid four weeks prior to the wedding date. Otherwise, you can make payments, pay in full, or wait until your 2-4 week mark- it is totally up to you.

In short, no. I find so much value in having an engagement shoot with my couples and that is why I include it (free of charge) with any wedding coverage. It's a great opportunity to get comfortable in front of the camera and gain a better understanding of how I provide direction. We're then able to get to know each other on a personal level and start building a great working relationship. It's super important to me that the three of us vibe and I want y'all to fully trust me on your wedding day!

Yes, I do!! I love going back to Oklahoma and I try to set up shoots throughout the year. If you are having your wedding in Oklahoma and want me to shoot it, then let's do it! I do not charge travel fees for weddings in Oklahoma. I love the opportunity to head back to the sooner state!
DO YOU SHOOT WEDDINGS OR BOUDOIR IN OKLAHOMA?

Um... That's a yes! If your wedding is outside of California and requires a plane ticket and hotel, I would require that to be paid for because I'm a mom of 3 girls, and they are high maintenance af. I definitely don’t need the ritz but a safe, comfy place to relax is ok with me. I have a few bucket list places I have been dying to shoot at that I would not require a travel fee.

I do not give any RAW files away. I take so many photos so I don't miss beat! Some of those images you maybe bkinking, or making an unflattering face. The raw images are also unedited images and as I mentioned above, editing is my favorite part of the process. This is what makes my work and art mine.
