Thomas planned an entire day together along the waterfront before bringing Erin back to the rooftop of their apartment building where friends and family had secretly transformed the space for the proposal itself. After he asked her to marry him, they walked back downstairs to find their apartment filled with the people they love most waiting to celebrate with them.
Not performative.

Just thoughtful in all the ways that mattered.

One of the things Erin and Thomas mentioned before their session was that they both tend to feel more comfortable once they’ve had time to settle into being photographed.

Very few people show up already knowing exactly what to do with their hands or how to move naturally in front of a camera. That’s why my approach during engagement sessions focuses less on perfect posing and more on creating an environment where people can actually relax into themselves.

And the quiet comfort of being fully themselves together.
