Marissa & Noah’s Timeless Love Story at The North Chapel and BRICK, San Diego
Some weddings carry a little extra magic, not just because of the stunning venues or the epic celebrations, but because they are filled with deep, personal meaning. Marissa and Noah’s wedding at The North Chapel Liberty Station was exactly that. A day woven with history, family legacy, and pure joy. The North Chapel Liberty Station wedding was truly unforgettable.
Their journey began in college in Iowa, where they met, fell in love, and built a life together over seven beautiful years. When it came time to say “I do,” Marissa knew there was only one place she could imagine walking down the aisle. The very same chapel where her parents exchanged vows years ago, back when Liberty Station was still a military base. A full-circle moment of love, legacy, and new beginnings at The North Chapel Liberty Station wedding.
Their reception took place at BRICK, one of the most vibrant and stylish venues in San Diego. A space where industrial charm meets timeless romance and the perfect backdrop for the party they had always dreamed of.
A Ceremony Rooted in Family and Tradition
The North Chapel at Liberty Station is steeped in history, and for Marissa, it was more than just a beautiful place. It was a tribute to the love story that came before hers. With its classic white pews, warm wood tones, and stunning arched windows, it set the stage for an intimate and heartfelt ceremony. It truly encapsulated the essence of The North Chapel Liberty Station wedding.
But what made it even more special was the fact that their best friend from college officiated the wedding. The ceremony was deeply personal, full of laughter, and uniquely them. And of course, Chester, their beloved cat, made a VIP appearance. No wedding is complete without a furry family member.
A Celebration to Remember at BRICK
If the ceremony was a nod to the past, the reception was a full-on celebration of the future. Marissa and Noah wanted their wedding to be a night their friends and family would never forget, especially since so many of their loved ones traveled in just to celebrate with them.
BRICK was the perfect setting for their vision.
A massive party atmosphere where love, music, and energy filled every corner.
Simplistic yet elegant décor that let the space’s natural charm shine.
Two incredible dresses. Marissa stunned in a princess ballgown for the ceremony and then transformed into a shimmering, sparkle-filled reception dress.
Moments that mattered. Photography was a huge priority, capturing not just the big moments but the small, in-between ones with the people they cherish most. After a year of family losses, these photos would be a way to hold onto their memories forever.
And at the center of it all was a couple so in love, so ready to celebrate, and so excited to finally call each other husband and wife.
I absolutely love working at BRICK because the staff there is incredible. Their day-of coordinators are truly the best coordinators I have ever worked with at any venue. Honestly, they shouldn’t even be considered day-of coordinators because they are full-on wedding planners. They go above and beyond for every couple, making sure no detail is overlooked and that the entire day runs seamlessly. When Marissa and Noah told me they chose BRICK for their reception, I knew their wedding was going to be something special.
From Engagement to “I Do”
Before their wedding day, I had the absolute pleasure of photographing Marissa and Noah’s engagement session. Seeing them interact, laugh, and just be completely themselves made me even more excited to capture their wedding day. Their connection is effortless and so full of love.
